Dedicated to helping farmers prosper, Cargill AgHorizons U.S. helps customers manage their risk and maximize production through grain marketing alternatives, crop insurance, agronomic advice and crop inputs. Part of Cargill's global agricultural supply chain group, Cargill AgHorizons serves customers with a 1,500-member team at more than 100 grain elevators and service centers across the United States.
This fertilizer production employee will be responsible for helping to operate the New Sharon facility efficiently and in a safe manner with superior customer service.
This position will be responsible for handling fertilizer and chemicals within the guidelines of the label instructions, using basic computer and math skills. Applicants will be expected to maintain accurate mixing, blending, delivery, and application records. As a Fertilizer Production Employee, you will:
Operate safely within Cargill policy, procedures, and governmental regulations and fully participate in Cargill Safety programs (BBSP, SafeStart etc.).
Mix and blend chemicals and fertilizer.
Perform critical operations to keep facility running: delivery of fertilizer, chemicals, & seed, as well as operate chemical and fertilizer application equipment, and blending of fertilizer and chemicals.
Perform daily vehicle/equipment inspections. Clean, maintain, and assist with mechanical items.
Inventory management.

## Qualifications
Required :
Have, or have, the ability to obtain a CDL and Commercial Application license
Must be able to read maps (S-T-R) and follow directions
Ability to work from heights
Ability to work irregular hours
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Basic math skills
Basic computer knowledge
Verbal and written communication skills a must
Preferred :
High school diploma, or equivalent
Experience mixing and blending of agriculture chemicals and fertilizer
Previous operation of commercial application equipment
Chemical and Fertilizer knowledge
